The Radar & Communications Group conducts research on advanced radar development for earth/space remote sensing and aviation applications, earth/space propagation experiments and emerging systems. Current major activities include development of dual polarization radar technologies, signal processing radar networking, and space borne radar remote sensing.

This team is part of the CSU, CHILL National Radar facility and Engineering Research Center, CASA. The
CSU-CHILL radar facility is funded by the National Science Foundation
and the State of Colorado for the purpose of supporting the research
community by providing data and evaluating experimental techniques
in remote sensing of the atmosphere.
CASA seeks to revolutionize the way we observe, detect,
and predict atmospheric phenomena by creating distributed
collaborative adaptive sensor networks that sample the
atmosphere where and when end user needs are greatest.
